I work during the day and work at home, as well.

One thing I found recently is that I've been wasting a lot of that time.

My question to my self is, if I had more time to work at home, would I waste more of it?

Do you find that?

I agree. Too often people have completely unrealistic expectations and quit their job only to fall deeply into debt as their first "work from home" attempt fails. Or worse, to fall for some "make money online" scheme. To do what you're doing is tough, but probably the safest way to create your own business.

I know exactly how you feel. It's tough working at a job and starting an internet business. But right now I'm working both just like you. Although I think it would be great to automate it at some point!
