Buying & Selling Sites/Domains and new sites

September 9th, 2006

I just purchase two sites from bob his link is in my side bar. These are two information sites http://www.TricepWorkout.net (paid $195 or £100) and www.InfantsEczema.com (paid $90 or £45). Both sites have potential and a little adsense revenue.  I think if I leave the sites alone I can make my money back in 2 years per site from adsense.  Although I have already started doing some work on them, hopefully after doing some more work and adding a lot more content I can make my money back in 10 months.

I also sold a domain name SwapPosts.com for $25 + an additional favor from a web entrepreneur friend, he got a good deal I think the name alones worth $50+. I did plan to develop this into a site but I have so many projects on at the moment I decided it was best to let this one go so I can concentrate on the others. I believe the person that I have sold the domain too will develop it into a good site.

I had problems selling some other domains on digital point, this guy wouldn’t pay up for something he agreed to buy, when I searched his posts he had been doing a lot of this. Some people are just idiots.

I have also got a few logos done for sites that I plan to build sites around. I have also a set up a new site on entrepreneurs called www.topbusinessentrepreneurs.com it needs more articles adding, I don’t think this site will make much money as it’s a kind of hobby site.

I am also on a big task to save for a forum skin for a new project $450 and vbulletin license $200.
