Business book reviews
Quick book reviews
I just sold a load of business books I have read on ebay so I might as well review them here.
Trump think like a billionaire
Good book with lots of general advice tips although some of the tips are a bit over the top like sleeping for 5 hours a day. Basically this is a book of short tips and not very in depth.

The Amstrad story
This book is basically about Amstrad and how Alan Sugar built it up from nothing into a multi national business. This is a excellent book although its very rare and difficult to get hold of.

Sell to win Richard Denny
A decent book on selling stuff it argues that the best way to sell is to give an honest opinion because if you do badly sell a product it will probably just get returned anyway. It also teaches you some selling techniques
Rating 3 out of 5
Motivate to win Richard Denny
A book on motivating people and yourself, its an ok book.

Business the Richard Branson way
Good book that looks at the techniques of Richard Branson in business. He tends to pick on big companies such as BA and coca cola, then he winds them up until they bite back.
Rating 4 out of 5
Business the Rupert Murdoch way
Rupert Murdoch is often seen as a bad guy in business but he is successful. He owns loads of newspapers, sky tv, fox and also myspace. Murdoch is a good business man and this book tells you his techniques, to me he just seems to be a bit amoral eg dosen’t put morals into business.

Forbes Greatest business stories of all time
Great book full of inspirational business stories. This is a book worth buying.

How to start a home based web design business
This book will help you start a web design business. It has sample contracts and stuff and also some good tips. Its worth it for the tenner it costs.
4/5 if you are a web designer
Abramovich the billionaire from nowhere
More political then business, this book disappointed me as I would have liked a better background on abramovich and his early days.
